Our Compliance Promise

The October 2026 Vaping Products Duty

From 1 October 2026, the UK Government introduces the Vaping Products Duty (VPD) — a flat excise tax of £2.20 per 10ml on all e-liquid products sold in the UK. This tax applies to every type of e-liquid: nicotine salts, freebase, shortfills, prefilled pods, and even zero-nicotine liquid. VAT at 20% is then added on top of the duty. In practice, a 10ml bottle currently priced at £1.99 will cost at least £4.19 after tax. A prefilled pod kit containing 13ml of refill liquid will see £3–4 added to its current price.
