How to choose

Puff count is the main difference: a bigger number means more liquid in the refill container and fewer trips back for pods. It is not a quality measure. What matters more day to day is whether you want one flavour or two, and whether you want an ice finish — both are marked on each range page.

October 2026 duty

From 1 October 2026 the Vaping Products Duty adds £2.20 per 10 ml — 22p per millilitre — to every vaping liquid sold in the UK. A 2 ml prefilled pod picks up about 44p before VAT, the gentlest the duty gets; our study of 10,388 UK listings measured roughly 11% on a 2 ml pod against 221% on a 100 ml shortfill.
